We're now the proud owners of a new rug rat. 2012 model. In the blue trunks weighing in at 3.67kg... Asher Hunter. Born 7:45pm, Wednesday 7 March. Head 37cm & 57cm long. 2 hour labour.

Later text:

"Was scheduled to be induced this morning, avoided an induction by 11hrs. Made it to the hospital and 30mins later he was born. Obs missed everything, lucky I had some lovely midwives."




My gorgeous friend, I'm so chuffed for you! Love his name and what a very tall little man you have.
And two hours, you go girl.

Congratulations Leesa. Wow, thank goodness you made it to the hospital in time! If you ever have a 3rd you might want to move in for the last few weeks of your pregnancy.

I hope you can pop in here and post some of your pics because Asher is an absolute stunner. Enjoy this time with your beautiful boys and I hope I get the pleasure of meeting Asher very soon. xx

Aww thanks everyone I can't describe how incredibly happy & blessed we feel. We have 2 perfect little boys, we are thrilled.

I can't quite believe Asher is 10 days old already. Everything seems to go so much faster the 2nd time around (labour included!).

I will try & write my birth story up tonight, before i forget all the details

Yes he really is 57cm long....he doesn't fit into any of the 0000 all in one's my first son wore, he's too long for them!




No Blake was only 51cm long. (at the hospital they told me he was 54 cm long but my first clinic visit from the midwife 2 weeks later they said he measured 51cm, so i doubt he could have shrunk, i think the hospital must have initially measured him incorrectly). Either way, Blake was no where near 57cm.

Wish i could take the credit for it, but my husband actually wrote the announcement. It took him about 5 mins to come up with in the delivery suite.
