We finally found a venue for our wedding, but the table cloths that are included in the package are white and the chair covers are black. The colour of the wedding is purple but since it will be cheaper to use the table cloths and chair covers instead of hiring different ones, I am looking for decoration ideas. Does anyone have a picture of a wedding reception with a purple theme but white table cloths and black chair covers?

I don't have any pictures but I can imagine that if you kept the colours simple and ONLY had purple, black and white (maybe some silver?) as your colours then it would tie together well.

Purple sashes on the chairs? Purple table runners or napkins? Purple flowers on the table? Maybe Singapore orchids in clear round glass vases? When I think of those colours it makes me think of a vibrant purple and exotic flowers.

You might find it makes your tables 'pop' more. People are likely top put coats etc on chairs anyway as the night progresses so I wouldn't worry too much.
