I posted in the other thread but then noticed this one so moved it. smile.gif

Even though I'm not "listing" myself, I think I might be 1 DPO today. My temp went up this morning by .25 and will hopefully be higher tmw, my EWCM is much less, and my OPK yesterday morning was basically negative (although the line was still strong). Will probably start using my HPTs from Saturday as I'm a crazy POAS addict. Lol.

Yesterday DP and I were reading up on a fertility clinic we like the sound of, and he's ordered their info pack. So one step closer to starting our IVF journey. smile.gif

Hi ladies,
I have been waiting for someone to open a January cafe!
DH and are were married in October and are now trying for a little one. It's very exciting, but who knew there would be so much pressure! I know it's only the pressure I create, but it's there none the less!!
So we tried for a December BFP with no luck, so silly but I had really hoped one try would be enough and was disappointed when it didn't take, rookie talk I know.
Used OPK last month and the month before (even though we weren't trying, just to chart O days) and my poor DH found it too much pressure, so I am gonna just go with it this cycle. That said, fairly sure BDing should be from NYE.

So for us TTC #1 cycle 2 CD8

I wish you all the best of luck, hopefully there can be plenty of babies before 2012!

RubyTuesday
Hi K&J!! Great news about Dh & yourself TTCing!! laugh.gif Hope you dont put too much pressure on yourself and that your stay here is short & sweet!! smile.gif

Sariele - I was going to add you to the list, but noticed you dont want to be listed?? Let me know if you want me to update.. smile.gif I really hope that you caught the eggy this cycle & pray that you dont have to head down the IVF path just yet!! *Hugs*
Sariele
Thanks RT - I'm tempted to list as this is the first time I've ever been somewhat certain of my DPO status, and probably the first cycle DP and I have actually made a bit of a timed BD effort, but I think I'll still keep myself off the list unless I get a miraculous BFP! I just don't like watching my cycles tick away day by day while so many others get to graduate..
Nov 08 Bride
This will be my first time in the TTC Cafe we are trying for baby number 2 ... first bub was a honeymoon surprise so TTC is new for us !

I will need some help with the TTC lingo etc .. any pointers?!?

The first day of my last period was the 19th of Nov so i think i should be Ovulating around new years..

Hey Girls,

Once again no good news for December... So I'll be adding myself to this list. According to FF my AF is due around Jan 1st... so with a bit of luck it won't arrive at all. During the many days being on the road, and the few nights we found ourselves either camping or staying in a cabin, we still managed to BD, and I put my foot down to only doing BD every 2nd night around O, even though hubby couldn't hold out one morning ph34r.gif

Adding myself to the new list. With a bit of luck there might be a few of us with early Jan BFPs!! biggrin.gif

Hope everyone had a happy and safe Chrissy and a brilliant New Year to come! smile.gif

Hi everyone, adding myself in too. I'm going to be away for most of the next week so won't be in much, but I'm meant to be home again one day before AF is due (maybe I'll get lucky with a short stay in the Jan cafe smile.gif ) . We're going to be away with heaps of friends, so don't think I'll be able to do any POAS, so I'll have to obsess in silence until I get home! Have added myself to the list, although I'm not 100% sure when I O'd, just took a guess!

Good luck to everyone, hoping for lots of BFPs this month smile.gif

Lady_r: have everything crossed for you for this month hope you get that eggy.

LSP: definitely agree bring on the NYE babies

ArmyGirl: Well done on Bd'ing given your circumstances and moving and all.

Hi to all the new girls welcome and I hope your stays here are short and sweet.

AFM: Tested today and negative but only CD25 so not sure what will be the outcome if I test again soon. I think I might wait until after CD28 though this month (Can't bear to see another negative.)

Morning girls we are in civilization for a couple of hours. Well the bleeding has all stopped so now it's a wait to O and get AF and then we start again. Hopefully a combo of the machine and temping and we will get it fast again. I have to get more ifolic today so going to get vitex as well. There was no pain with the D&C I had a bit of cramping yest but not much. Have started to loose wait I put on with that bub as well. Hubby has been really good. Let me sulk, mope, cry and get angry and listens when I worry if we will get preg again or if I will ever carry to term. Our baby furniture layby we did when we found out we were preg is due out next week so we are getting it out and just putting away.

Hope everyone had a nice Xmas and has a great new year.

Di - thanks for adding me. Speak to you soon.
Sariele
Bec - good to hear you're staying strong. And yay for trying again. I hope your monitor works as well as it did last time! And I can totally understand your fears, but remember that at least 25% of women will experience a mc at some stage, and the number of times since I've started hanging around baby forums I've seen someone say they went through a chemical pg and/or mc then fell with their sticky the following month... I think what I'm saying is by all means be wary, but be hopeful too, cause you could be one of them. smile.gif

AFM my temp went up again this morning, but my 5:30 alarm didn't wake me up so I had to take it at 8am when I woke; don't know how much of a difference this would make? My CM last night was dry and creamy, so I'd say O happened in the last day or two. But I reckon the last time we BD was perhaps too early to hypothetically catch an eggy... I don't trust that DP's possible handful of dodgy sperm would live more than a few hours! Lol.

AFM - just waiting, waiting still. Have been feeling "funny" the last couple of days and have had diarhea (sorry, TMI!!!) yesterday and today so am hopeful that it's a good sign. laugh.gif Glad I'm not the only one!! I have thoughts like that every day too - especially when Jackson is driving me insane with his incessant whinging!!!

Yep, I'm sure! It's hard to imagine having a newborn as well as dealing with your first bubba. Jackson at times drives me mental and I think I must absolutely 100%, be insane to ever have another baby, let alone now.

But then when he's being his gorgeous self, I can't WAIT!! I miss newborn smells and cuddles and their total dependance, plus can't wait to see if we have another cheeky monkey or a little princess next time, whether their personality will be exactly like Jackson, similar traits or worlds apart. Also can't wait till we can have two to play with each other and share a special bond wub.gif

So yes, some days are harder than others (interrupted sleep, teething issues, whinging, sick bubs etc etc), but it's all so, so worth it and can't wait to spread some more love around wub.gif

As for my TWW - Had some creamy CM just now when i went to the toilet....so still hoping!!

leebec
Hi girls I started taking vitex yesterday as well as my ifolic to get AF back so we can start trying again. I just want AF so that I can start temping and using my machine and just getting back to it.

I am really hoping it happens quickly again and the next time lasts longer than 8 weeks. Would be nice to have a November or December bub. Then again everything is dependent on pathology so we will see.
mrsmac05
LSP: definitely know where you are coming from those newborn cuddles were the best at times.

Bec: FC that it all happens quickly for you and you find out what went wrong.

AFM: Resisted testing again this morning. AF is still staying away which is nice and makes me hopeful DH is pretty hopeful too. She is officially late as of today so I'm hoping its not a wacky cycle and we get our BFP tomorrow. Ooohh better go and buy some tests this afternoon. Any suggestions as for the best ones?
Sariele

Everyone seems to swear by First Response midstreams. I don't like them because they keep giving me BFNs, lol! wink.gif
Nicole_R
Bec, here's hoping the vitex does the trick for you. I tried it, but I didn't see any noticeable difference so I hope you have better luck than me.

LSP, I can't relate to the newborn stage, as I've never been there (MissA is DH's from a previous relationship but she lives with us FT), but I can definitely relate to the having enough love to go around. I can't wait to be pregnant, and then to have my own little bubba to shower with love & affection. Whilst I absolutely love & adore Anika, DH has said and I know it will just be at a whole new level when I've got my own wub.gif

MrsMac, as Sariele said FR is definitely the best in terms of early detection. It will in most cases pick up a BFP before any of the cheaper tests..

KittyKatz, thank you smile.gif

AFM, just hangin' out for O to come around. It's pretty close, (TMI alert) I had loads of EWCM last night, so we DTD then & will do it again tonight just for good luck, & possibly the fact that it's NYE tongue.gif

Hope everyone has a great NYE!!!

Hope everyone has/is having/had a nice evening. We were meant to have a couple and their toddler come over, but they only just got him to sleep late this arvo so they're going to come over at 10:30-11pm instead.

Happy new year everyone, I have a good feeling about 2011. smile.gif xxx

Morning all

I thought I might get 2011 off to a good start. I tested this morning and the result was:

BFP!!!!

Here's hoping that it kicks off the beginning of a year with many BFP's

Congrats MM!! Great start to the year. smile.gif

DP sleepily asked me before we fell asleep (at 4am ph34r.gif ) "do you think you'll be pregnant by this time next year?" I said maybe, but it'd be nice even before then. He then said he needs to take me to the place where they can stick things in me (meaning IVF). Lol. I think he's almost as keen as me for a bub (it would be very hard to be as keen as me; guys rarely get as obsessed... laugh.gif)

N08Bride: Have fun stalking your hubby.

Mrs Mac - Wooo Hoooo!! laugh.gif Hugest congratulations!! What a wonderful to way to start 2011!! wub.gif

To all the other ladies - I really hope 2011 also brings that much yearned for BFP!! & baby dust to all!!

AFM - Had a lovely NYE with friends. Just chillin at home with bbq & wine. I had a few glasses.. But figured it was way to early to be able to affect anything at this stage, only being 6DPO.

One thing that really peeved me though was my friend who I regard as a very good friend is not really in my good books right now!! :glare: We recently adopted a dog (Rommie) that we originally fostered from Aug 2010. When he first came to us he was EXTREMELY frightened & timid. So much so that even now after almost 6 months he still flinches at DH & other men.. In the beginning Rommie wouldnt even go near DH so we suspected he had been abused by a former 'male' owner.

FF to last night. Rommie jumped up on my chair outside after about the 5th time, and I was about to put him on the ground again with a very firm 'NO' but my friend decided to SLAP him instead. So much so that it sounded quite loud & poor Rommie just leaped off my lap and spent the rest of the night in the laundry. It really frightened him. Of all the dogs too that she could have done this to it had to be Rommie who is still quite fragile!! I was UNimpressed!! And I told her so in no uncertain terms. :glare: How dare someone 'slap' my dog?!?! If I had a child would she slap them too if they were misbehaving in her books?!?! huh.gif

Anyway, apart from that I did have a lovely evening, but had to sleep from 9.30pm to the countdown to midnight as I had quite a throbbing headache (only had about 5 drinks all up!).

On the 2WW front - I have had quite sore nipples the last two days. And my bb's are just spilling out of my 10F bra!! ohmy.gif They are so full & heavy it is not funny!! My CP is still high & soft.. Fingers crossed that these are good signs!!
Kyla
congrats mrsmac smile.gif Yey for starting the new year with a BFP smile.gif

I hope you all had a good new years and that 2011 brings you all you desire biggrin.gif We had a quiet one in. I really wasn't up to too much - I still feel massively bloated and my abdomen and ovaries are painful. I really hope this cycle I O so the discomfort goes away (if I don't it will get worse!).

I finished my last provera yesterday so the red witch is due sometime in the next two weeks (in the next two days if I'm lucky) I'll add myself in when CD1 starts.

Hope AF comes quick for you Kyla so that you can get on with TTCing.. *Hugs*

yay MRS MAC!!!! bout time you got out of here, what a way to start 2011!

RT ohmy.gif I don't blame you one little bit, I would be absolutely mortified!!! mad.gif not to mention the way i'd let fly to her (I don't have a whole lot of self control when it comes to people hurting animals, least not animals that are already timid such as Rommie)! sad.gif By the sounds of it you handled it very well given what she did & I think you were totally within your rights to question the similarity had he have been a child. My furbaby is just as much part of our family as our daughter is, heaven forbid if anyone laid a hand on either of them. Grr, it makes me so angry!

Other than that i'm glad you had a good night after smile.gif

We had an awesome night, it was really really good. Loads of laughs with awesome company. Am only now going to sleep though for the first time since the night before NYE ph34r.gif Yup, it was that good! laugh.gif

PS they sound like promising signs, FC this is your month.
