Just wanted to let you all know that I have my FS appointment. I'm really going to stress to them that I want results. I want to know they are going to work with me, and not just tell me to lose weight. But most of all, I am going to request a CA-125 test to make sure that there is no trace of Ovarian Cancer. I hope that in me asking for this rest they will know I'm serious about everything.
Still no AF for me. And no positive test either. I guess another thing to work out with the FS.
I'm going to my Grandmothers place this weekend for my Uncles Wedding. I think that it's going to be a boring weekend but it's something that I think both hubby and I need. It's about 3 1/4 hours from Brisbane. Hopefully the weather is clear.
Anyway, just though I'd get the thread moving.

That's good to hear you've got another appt Beth. Just a piece of advice from me on the FS front. I think you're right on the money, when you say you want them to know you're serious about it all..
From my experience only, I had a really positive one. & TBH I think that came about because from
the second I walked in to the room I made it clear I knew more than some other women do, and that I wanted a result - basically there & then.
Use all the lingo, make it clear to him you've done your research, you've explored your options & 'this' is what you expect out of your appt.
Yes, they are the specialists, and there's no doubt they know a lot more than us, but that doesn't mean they're always right. Everyone is different, and if you make it clear to
him/her of your wishes, whilst using all the approriate terminology they won't be able to say no

I walked out of my very first FS appt on the sunshine coast here, with what I wanted(within reason). Clomid & pessaries. It hasn't worked (as yet), but I'm certainly a lot hAppier knowing I tried this with his agreeance also that he thought it was the first step for me.
Arm yourself with all your knowledge, all your tests, your charts (if u can print them out), etc. Anything that will help you & your case!
In all my research, I think you're a primary candidate for clomid - more so than I! I still am, buy given I ovulate & you don't (sometimes), that is really what they issue clomid for...
Good luck hun x
