There's been a major car accident just near my house. A people mover rolled(unknown what happened) and a 9 month old baby was thrown from the car. My mum saw the accident scene on her way home and said the baby's carseat is lying on the side of the road. The baby is now in RCH fighting for it's life

Please please please check your carseats, make sure they're in as securely as possible.

I remember when i was younger having my sister in the back of our car and when I looked over to check on her quickly, her car set buckle had come loose!! I nearly had a heart attack! And I remember that my mum had only purchased it about a fortnight before it happened!!

I saw it on the news this morning too. The baby is in for brain surgery as I type

Apparently there were other children in the car and all other occupants have only minor injuries. To think the baby seat or capsule or whatever it was had been thrown clear from the car is terrifying.

My thoughts are with them.

what an awful thing to happen, I hope that it goes well for that poor baby.
