Having had a look recently I noticed there doesn't seem to be one thread that is dedicated to offering ideas and inspiration to mummies and mummies-to-be and that it would be good if it were all in one thread!

Being that I love a bit of a google I was challenged early this evening to find some pics for another member - which got me thinking that I should share them!

I am happy to keep coming in and adding more / searching for specifics if people want me to, but I'm on holidays NOW so get in whilst you still can

If you find you're reeaally bored I'm after ideas for a gender neutral nursery. Nothing too bold, fairly subdued. (A little something like this:

The cot is white if that helps! I'm in the process of sanding down a glider chair (will be painted white) so will be looking for furnishings for this to co-ordinate.

We're not big on animal prints and are contemplating a tree - wall decal.

yes they could and I do love elephants. I found a toy elephant at Ikea that is blue and orange that im planning on getting bubs. If you find any orange and blue elephants make sure you post them

There was a nursery I saw a few months back that I loved, now its not as fancy as these ones but it was funky ! it was the nursery from the owner ( I think ) of baby's got style ... she posted some pics on the blog thats on that site, and it was in a mag as well ... i'll hunt for it now

Tas, I think you are the undisputed queen of finding inspirational pics! I LOVE the red themed ones you posted - in fact, if I can't find the white single bed I'm after for Felix's big boy's room I think I'm going to get the old single bed that's been passed around through our family and sand it back and paint it a bright glossy red. Now to plan on how to tie it in to the rest of the room.. keep the pics coming!
