I did the following at my girlfriends hen's:
*Gave each girl a ring (bought a packet of cheap kids rings from a $2 shop) and the rule was if someone said the word 'wedding' (you can make it whatever you like) and you caught them, you got to take their ring. The one with the most rings at the end won a prize.
*What's in your handbag? I had a list of items that could be found in a handbag and each item was allocated a point- eg pen=1, receipt with today's date=10. You can put whatever you want, more common items (pens, tissues, lip balm etc) get allocated lower points than more interesting things (someone else's license, a photo of the bride...) You can also give bonus points for the most interesting/unique item.
*A left/right pass the parcel. Write out a little story about how Bride knew she had met Mr Right, so she left right away to find the right dress. But she left her purse in the car.... When you say the words 'left' and 'right' they have to pass it in that direction. It's better if you read fast
*The wedding song game. Type out a list of popular wedding songs (Google will help
), omitting one word from each title. Get the guests to filll it out in a certain time limit. The one with the most correct at the end wins.
The bride I hosted a hens for is quite a conservative girl so the games reflect that.
