Mistaken
OK I really don't know much about straighteners, I have straight hair so could never see why I'd want one.

Recently (with 2 kids) I just don't have time to blow dry my hair and I love the way it looks when the hairdresser uses the GHD. So my question is - is it quick & easy to use a GHD? I have fine, flyaway hair. I asked my hairdresser and he recommended washing at night and then using the GHD in morning.
I don't really want to spend the money if it's not going to be super simple.

Also, for special occasions I curl my hair with hot rollers, so would I be able to get a similar effect with the GHD?

Please help out this novice?

I have really thick unruly hair and I have never ever mastered the art of hair drying my hair but even I manage to straighten my hair with a GHD. It takes about 10 minutes for my hair. As for curling your hair, I believe you can do it with a GHD but never found out how so would be curious to know.

my cousins use it to make waves and curls all the time. get ur hairdresser to show you but basically you just twist the straightener around on itself as you pull it down the length of hair.

i have super curly hair and it straightens it really quickly. I used to staighten it all the time but this year have gotten lazy and gone allanatural curly. i do reccomend GHD's though they are very useful

I'm pretty useless at hairstyling, and I find GHD super easy.

I have pretty straight fine hair and I have a GHD. I don't use that it that often cause my hair can't handle it being used all the time. But I just blow dry my hair until it's completely dry. Then I just run the straightener over my hair in small sections. It only takes me about 5 mins but it holds heaps better than if I have just blow dried it.

Yep, I recently bought one and I love it! Mine came with an instructional DVD on how to do the curls too, so its definitely doable - but may take some practise to get it perfect smile.gif

I couldn't live without my GHD. I use it daily.
Straightening is easy. Curls take a bit more practise..but they are easy as once you have the hang of it.
