Yummy! I love pumpkin soup, must make some

I've always hated pumpkin soup (actually, all soup) but made this last week for Jackson and just had a quick taste to make sure it wasn't too spicy for him...and it was soooo delish I've been eating it too!
Jackson devours it and last night demanded the bowl and was trying to lick it out

Haha - I used to read this thread thinking it was so far in the future for us, but we're about a month into tentatively trying a bit of food, and a week into using the high chair, which is proving a big hit!
So tonight (still on one 'meal') we had
Rice-cereal with BM and a bit of apple puree mixed in - went down very quickly today - he's getting the hang of getting food off the spoon much more

Then 10 minutes attempting to drink water out of a sippy cup

He tries so hard, and has so much fun

QUOTE(janelle84 @ Apr 7 2011, 07:10 PM)

Jaydee I would love the recipe for this when you get a chance please!

It's pretty basic

Cook 375g dried spaghetti in boiling, salted water. Then drain, reserving 1/2 cup of the pasta water. Stir that through the pasta with 50g butter and 1tsp vegemite (or more, to taste) and grate fresh parmesan on the top to serve, if you like. That's to serve 4-6, when I make it for the kids I guesstimate how much pasta they'll eat, then add a tablespoon of butter and a small half teaspoon of vegemite.
Today-
Breakfast: Honey on toast, strawberries, grapes
Morning tea: Crackers and cheese
Lunch: Mini lentil meatballs in a cheesy tomato sauce with macaroni
Afternoon tea: Home-made muesli bars (no healthier IMO, made with condensed milk

- I just had some condensed milk to use up)
Dinner: Easy Friday, probably beans on English muffins and a squeezie yoghurt.
