Very happy to report that in the last few days my girl has astounded me with trying some new things (and actually enjoying them).

I made a hokkien noodle dish of which she ate a large bowl two nights in a row and last night she ate 5 prawns and about 100g of my salmon fillet.

SO exciting!
Jaydee
Yay Monica smile.gif

Today-

Breakfast: Honey on toast, banana
Morning tea: Yoghurt
Lunch: Kidney (bean) pies
Afternoon tea: Wiggles biscuits, and Ryvitas. Levi's choice. He ate FOUR blink.gif
Dinner: Home-made pizza and kale chips.
Monica
Have just bought ryvitas, I love them but was a bit worried they might be too 'rye' for Nina - though she does eat light rye bread exclusively. Do you put anything on they Jaydee? I was thinking cream cheese or tuna and cream cheese?

I know your kids love all the grainy stuff so hopefully Nina will eat something a little different to what she is used to.

Late with dinner tonighand probably jinxing myself by even posting this but waiting for a plate of the following to cool.

Chick peas
Pumpkin fingers
Tempura chicken - store bought, not great but hoping she will at least eat some.

I also think she is majorly teething as even her faves have been a bit hit and miss and her fingers are constantly up the back of her mouth!
Jaydee
Monica I initially was worried too but they both ate them, no worries! Initially I was just putting organic butter on but then Levi wanted Vegemite as well tongue.gif They first saw them when DH was eating them so we call them "Daddy biscuits" and the appeal is HUGE because of that wink.gif

Funnily enough for last night's pizza I used wholemeal flour for the first time and they didn't like it rolleyes.gif Despite the fact they eat wholemeal bread, brown rice, and Ryvitas rolleyes.gif
And FWIW mine won't eat rye bread!

Today for us-

Breakfast: Honey on toast, bubble and squeak, banana
Morning tea: Apricots, sultanas, Wiggles biscuits
Lunch: A quick-and-easy meal of hokkein noodles, marinated honey-soy tofu, egg, and canned corn kernals laugh.gif
Afternoon tea: Yoghurt and a taste of the lemon meringue pie we made today
Dinner: Easy Friday, so toasties and rockmelon.
LoveSweetpea
B: pikelets
MT: biscuit
L: slice of cold pizza leftover from DH and my dinner last night!
AT: yoghurt
D: meatloaf, mashed potato and steamed veggies

Yesterday-

Breakfast: Cheese on toast, fruit, muesli blink.gif I was eating it and they wanted it so I picked out the nuts and off they went.
Morning tea: DH gave it to them when I showered, no idea. Crackers and dried fruit, I think.
Lunch: Super-quick hokkein noodle and veg honey stir-fry.
Afternoon tea: Packet of Wiggles biscuits while we were grocery shopping
Dinner: Gnocchi vegetable bake, Levi's request.

Today-

Breakfast: Beans on toast, fruit, yoghurt
Morning tea: Crackers and dip
Lunch: I've got some leftover gnocchi, so that, and maybe some Ryvitas, as is the current phase rolleyes.gif
Afternoon tea: Might set them up with some dried fruit, some dry cereal, and a couple of bowls and spoons.
Dinner: DH seems to want chicken burritos so he and Levi can have that, and Bee and I will have a vego equivalent, with some corn on the cob and maybe some home-made wedges.

I am so late discovering this topic - it's awesome!

Today:

GF toast with almond butter
Piece roasted capsicum
Peeled & cut flame grapes
Fork mashed peas and carrots + creamed corn & cheese on loaded spoon
Whole cold carrot as teether.

No point putting quatities as they are all just 'tastes'.
