I havent done much today. I had lunch with a friend today which was nice

Tonight we were going to go bowling with the girls and some friends of ours but we might give it a miss I think. Instead we are going to have leftovers for dinner and all snuggle up and watch a movie

haha Im around still. Just about to go get ready for the day. Im going to go shopping with the MIL and Breanna today. They have all the stocktake sales on which will be good

Need to find Breanna some trackies (she only has one pair) so she can wear them to daycare. Its packed down at the shops so I think Damian is going to stay here with Chels while Me and Breanna go down. Damo isnt a fan of big crowds

Other than that we arent going to be doing much today as the weather is crappy

Whats everyone else up to today??
O and today is the 5th day that we havent seen a poo from Chels

Thats not like her at all. She is a once/twice a day girl. I asked MIL(she is a Nurse) and she said it shouldnt be a prob unless she seems to be inpain (she isnt). Im going to go to the Chemist today however and get something for it I think. I know I wouldnt like to go 5 days with no poo

I am still here too. Starting to pack up the house today. I sooo can't be bothered. And it is raining and cloudy outside, glad we aren't moving today.
Bee we did the sales yesterday (me and mum and lil), we got some great stuff! Pumpkin Patch also had a sale, buy one thing get the second 50% off so I stocked up for next winter!!
Emma I watched that the other day, quite a good movie!! I LOVE Brad Pitt

Monica- your husband sounds like he's being a real pain in the behind. You are right- he's not acting like the mature adult he should be. Hopefully you guys can work something out soon, and start giving you the support you need.
Toffee- hooray for Blake! It sounds like you've really turned a corner with him- maybe it's time to start getting hopeful that you've reached the end of those horrible first weeks?
Emma- how great of your parents to give you a break like that. Hope that you took full advantage of the quiet to take good care of yourself!
Youngone/Bee- you've changed your username! How did you do that? I want to change mine- butsy was my nickname in high school (based off my maiden name) but in the forum, people read it wrong and say 'Busty'

Bit embarrassing, really!
Summa- how busy life is for you! Hope that everything settles down soon. Congratulations on your new business.
So i'm doing okay after my spat on Friday. I was just so shocked to find out about our unexpected houseguests. It's all settled down- William loves having the attention and slid back into his routine, and DH's family have been wonderful- cooking excellent meals (with leftovers, so i won't have to cook for a week!) and cleaning up after themelves really well. His grandfather even fixed the aerial on my car, it's been broken for over a year now.

I may have overreacted a little!
Oooo...i just played around and figured out how to change my username. Hooray!

Hey!
Thats great Toffee, its amazing what a good night sleep can do for you and bubs.
Summa you poor thing, packing sucks!
Lucky girl Emma having the day to yourself....I cant remember the last time I had a day to myself.
Monica, I hope you work things out with your hubby. My hubby and I clash all the time over our kids....I understand how you feel.
Amy I saw your photos on facebook they look great, you have a beautiful family.
Have fun shopping Bee!
I was going through my computer desk the other day....and I found a pamphlet on routines tresillian gave me when I had them come out when I was having problems with Rhianna sleeping, I thought it may be useful to some of you mummies.

I'm here!
Friday night was a nightmare. Poor Nathan isn't well. He has a headcold and with all the extra phelm going down his throat he is throwing up more which in turn is making him a very unsettled and unhappy little man. I was so worry last night was going to be bad but after screaming the house down for a few hours he finally slept at about 9pm and woke up at 5am. We tried raising his cot but that made him freak out so we had to put it flat again. I think my little boy is going to be "precious" when he is sick

.
Yesterday I hit the sales as well and I got some new pants, 4 new tops, a bra and some singlet tops for $150 all up. I thought that was brilliant. I also finally got some photos developed so now I have pics of Nathan around the house and not just Emma

.
We are having friends over for dinner tonight so I better get going.
p.s. just wanted to add I have convinced Hubby I need a new pram so I can go walking with the kids and loose some weight and he said yes.....the pram is exy though but I don't care! I want a bloody good one!

Emma, sorry I don’t have any advice for the dogs as I am not a pet owner. Such a cute pic of Sophie on her mat!
Bee, sure would love to catch up. How long are you staying for?
Toffee, sorry to hear Blake has reflux. Madison was in 0000’s and 000’s for a while

Amy, yes I’m in for the Brisbane meet

Sorry to hear about your sudden guests... that’s crazy!
Summa, wow you sound busy!
Monica, I am so sorry to hear that you and DH aren’t getting along that great. The first few months can be really tough on a relationship. I’m glad you were strait with him and had words after he came home from work early.
We got back from our holiday on Friday... all went well

We went to the Pregnancy, Babies and Kids Expo today at the Convention Centre. It’s about twice the size that it was two years ago (the last time I went). It was great!
Alan is slowly stretching his night sleep longer and longer. Lately he has been doing 830pm to 530am (around that time anyway). Hope he keeps it up for me

Nyree - Im up to go see Pink on Tuesday the 25th of August and we be leaving on the Wednesday so only for 2 days. Could catch up either day
Well this is the 6th day without a poo from Chelsea

I rang ABA and talked to the Chemist and they have said just to wait it out abit longer

I think if she hasnt gone by Wednesday Im going to the Dr.

It's been quiet in here lately! All busy with our growing babies- they do take up more and more attention every day.
Brisbane Mums- the 25th/26th August works for me. What about Southbank? We could walk around the park, eat ice-cream, and it's fairly easy for everyone to find?
Speaking of attention, my little one has decided not to settle. Ugh.
Will return and catch up later

Jun 22 2009, 12:34 PM
Bee - 6 days

Thats how long Sophie went and she was so uncomfortable. The ECHN has told me if more than 3 days then you need to do something. how si she? in pain? unsettled??
As for us... i was up all night, but not to Soph, she was an angel, i was sick and had the runs and just couldn't rela

Scott took a sick day and has taken Sophie to wollongong shopping

And i have had a sleep and feel better... Still have a rather uncomfortable tummy pain, and my back is aching, but i feel heaps better.
**Bee**
Jun 22 2009, 01:19 PM
Emma - Was sophie on Formula at the time?? I have been told on formula thats really bad but Breastmilk it isnt that bad. I have also today rang karitane and they told me that 14 days is even possible and safe. She gave me some tips to help it along too (most of which I have already tried). She is not upset at all, thats why I havent taken her to the Dr yet. She is her normal self, except with lots of stinky gas

I think it may be on its way down

If she hasnt gone by Wednesday Im off to the Dr's Im not waiting any longer. They say that Breastmilk is so full of goodness that there isnt much waste to get rid of and therefor can be days inbetween poos.

Oh- a question.
I've been hearing everyone talk about visits to the ECHN (which i assume is Early Childhood Health Nurse?). I thought that it might have been an out-of-Qld thing, and then i was talking to another mother in Ikea on Saturday who mentioned the same thing.
Who is the mysterious person? Should i be seeing one? How do you get an appointment? Nothing has ever been mentioned to me about seeing a nurse- i just go to my GP for his 2 wks, 2 months, 4 months etc appointments (coupled with his immunisations).
I'm so confused...
Sarah Kate
Jun 22 2009, 03:30 PM
We have them in victoria Amy. Basically the hospital sends paperwork to the health nurse (council run) to let them know there is a new mother in the area. They firstly come visit you at home and then you have weekly visits until 1 month at the centre and then go on to monthly up months then it's every 2 months until t hey turn 1. Also it's usuallyl where you join a mother's group.. They aren't compulsory to go to but a lot of mothers like it because bubs gets weighed and measured and you can ask questions as well as get telephone support when in doubt. They are basically midwives who no longer work in hospital

.
Last night we talked about having a third
Emma, I hope you're feeling better xo
~Emma~
Jun 22 2009, 03:32 PM
Butsy/Amy - i go to the one at the chemist. I went to a couple before i found one i was comforable with. There is no appointments, they are usually there on certain days between certain times and you just kinda turn up within that time frame. The one i see now is really great, she will fill in the blue book milestone checks for you, and each time you see her she writes notes in so you can always look back. At the moment i am seing her weekly, but you can just go if you want to ask qestions, or get Will weighed.. Its not necesary, completely optional!
Bee - yeah she was FF then. When i was BF she went 9 days... I let her kick with no pants on, did bicycle legs, and massaged tum tum, thn on her next feed, se was pooing like a trooper.. HAHA
Well daddy and Soph are still not home, i think he is enjoying himself too much!!

Emma, hope you're feeling much better soon!
Bee, your dates work for me

Southbank sounds good.
SK, we've been talking about a third before Alan was even born

I think we're going with no at this stage but it could change...
All good here for the day. Raining and miserable outside... glad we are having a stay home day today
Summa
Jun 22 2009, 09:40 PM
I can do 25th August at Soutbank, it is nice and easy to get to.
Amy I am same as you, I am in Qld too and a ECHN was never mentioned to me. I have only been to the midwife at the Chemist once apart from the GP. I am pretty happy with the way Lil is progressing so I won't go back unless there is a problem.
Emma how are you feeling now?
Nyree it is raining and miserable here too (I guess cause we don't live that far from you

). I had to go to work this arvo in the rain and it was awful, trying to get Lil in and out of the car. She was such a good girl for her Nan though.
SK, we have been talking about the next one, and the one after that, and so on. Hubby wants four more now, we had only agreed on three more but he has changed his mind.
I am trying to track my cycles again so we can start trying for the next one but I am up to day 21 and according to my ovulation sticks I still haven't ovulated. Do you think this is normal? This is my first cycle since she has been born, I have only had one period.
Bee, Mt Gravatt isn't too far away from me so let me know if you need a lift.
Here are a couple of recent pics of Lil, one in the pram helping me do the gardening and the other one just playing around:-

Thanks girls, im feeling much better today

Scott got home last night and he was so impressed with himself!!! he popped into my mums work (she work next to the birth death and marriages office) and the lady at the counter says to him, "oh, BD&M is next door"...hehe They all thought he was awesome for travelling over an hour fom home on his own with Soph for the entire day!! I was very proud of him!
Summa - Lil is so grown up!!! She has a beautiful smile!!!
Today is consisting of ECHN at the chemist when Soph wakes up (if she even goes to sleep), then lunch in town, then come home for a rest, bath, and then dinner to the PIL's... Its sunny here today, so i'm goign to try and wash the sheets! its so much harder to get time for this now...
Monica
Jun 23 2009, 08:10 AM
Sunny here too, I plan on doing 5 loads of washing, 2 of which are Nina's!
Hubby and I had a talk and he apologised profusely for being a dick. He said ti wasn't an excuse but he was incredibly stressed at work so by the time he was getting home his fuse was very short so I was copping it. We had a nice day together just the two of us, and even though it was spent cleaning the house (Mum took Nina) we talked and mucked around, it was great.
Nina is being pretty good of late. Last feed is generally between 10-11 and she is sleeping through anywhere from 5 til 8.30! Still taking up to an hour after the feed to settle but I don't really mind, we just have cuddles on the bed.
She is talking ie cooing so much more, it is very sweet.
I hadn't been to see the ECHN yet (she visited me twice) and I rang to book in last week and they couldn't fit us in til next Friday (3/7)! I also haven't been along to mother's group, still not sure I am going to.
Having my nether region problem taken care of on Thursday- going in for day surgery whilst Mum looks after Nina. I have expressed all her bottles for about 48hours just in case I don't feel up to it. Bit scared about going under a GA again but it is a minor procedure so I'm sure it will all be ok.
~Emma~
Jun 23 2009, 08:25 AM
Monica - good luc for thursday. You will be fine! And 48hours of EBM.. you champion!!! how long did that take??
When you gals say your bubbas are sleeping thru, what time do they go down, and what time do they wake up with any "dreamfeeds" in between? Sophie goes to bed at 6 or 6.30pm, has dreamfeed at 10pm, then sleeps til 3-3.30ish, has a feed, then usually is back down withing 30-45mins, and sleeps thru til 6.30-7am. I am happy with that, and honestly if she has to wake up each night for that middle feed so be it..
have you guys established a bedtime routine yet? Are you going to? We're trying really hard to get it into place so we can become used to it, before i go back to work and she is being cared for by others. We're finding that she is going to sleep so much easier after we follow the routine. We usually play 5, strip her off and let her have a nudey rudey kick, then in the bath, she loves the bath, so it is generally a long bath, about 20 mins or so, then we have a masage with the J7Jbedtime lotion (the purple one) and then into wondersuit, has some cuddles with daddy, then mummy feeds, she usually falls asleep on the bottle, then tis a matter of dumping in bed! This is much better for us as a couple too. We're having that dinner time to talk, then we sit down on the lounge and watch masterchef together (what are we gonna do when it ends

)then i usually head to be, hubby stays up on the comp etc etc, then does the dreamfeed, and ido the night feed/s. Is working really well for us at the moment, hope it does when i return to work.

Emma - Sophie's photos are cute! I replied in you thread regarding sleeping. Glad you are feeling better, do you know what you got food poisioning from? How sweet of your hubby taking her out - he must have had a great day.
Monica - will be thinking of you on thursday, i hope you have a quick recovery. Im also glad you worked things out with your hubby.
Summa - Nice to hear form you. Good luck with all your adventures coming up, you are so busy! Lily is so cute!
Nyree - how big of a gap do you want between alan and the third one? And you too srarh kate.
Amy - we have seen the nurse once. just for the developmental checks in the blue book. And to get the info to join a mothers group. your photos on facebook are so beautiful!
Toffee - Im so glad blake has turned a corner!! Do you think it is the medication because thats when he started sleeping better didnt he?
Bee - Youll love pink, she was fantastic.
We are going well here. Rylan is still sleeping through the night. I have been getting his feeds down a little now in 24hrs we do 5 or 6 feeds - which i think is much better. other than that its been a quite week. we are still waiting for his birth certs to come - we ordered a standard sand a special one. He will have his needles next week- im so scared so his dad is taking him in lol, and i have my appointment at the hospital with a special gyno - i will get the results of what happened after his birth with my cervix and uterus, they should be able to tell me if i can have anymore children.
Monica
Jun 23 2009, 12:01 PM
Emma- I have been building up that supply ever since I got the pump, generally pump about 160ml a day which is a little more than one feed.
In terms of sleeping through, Nina's last feed is between 10-11 and she will generally stir twice (1ish and 3ish) but I put the dummy back in or pat her if need be and she will generally last til between 5.30-8.30 depending on how well she has slept during the day. I made the last feed 9pm the other night and she only lasted til 3pm- I would rather make the last feed later so she lasts til at least 5 but that's just us.Bear in mind my child has never ever woken screaming for a feed, I just don't think she is a hungry baby

Well just popping in quickly before my grandparents arrive

They are staying with us until the weekend so I may not get much time to post but will still pop in and see whats going on
SK - Talking about a third already!!! You super mum you

How soon do you think you will be TTC??
Summa - Good luck with the TTC

how exciting!!! Lil is beautiful BTW
Emma - How did you go with the ECHN?? And Chelsea isnt sleeping through either Emma. Some babies just dont. Its not very common when babies do sleep through so early. Breanna did, she was a great sleeper (7pm - 6am) however I cant see Chelsea doing so anytime soon. Im getting used to waking up at night now. We put her to bed about 630/7 and give her a dreamfeed between 830-9 and she goes until about 330am and than from 4 or so until 8 I think
Mon - Goodluck for Thursday

Thinking of you! And great to hear that you have sorted things out with Hubby
Alana - Goodluck with the Gyno, will be good for you to know what happened. You may be waiting for a while for the BC, I ordered the special one + standard and I only got mine last week!
Well Im looking forward to the Brissy meet girls

Will be lovely. I should be ok getting there. Might get Hubby to drop me off while he goes and finds something to do lol. What time would be good for you all?? If its on the Tuesday it might have to be after lunch as I dont think we will be up there before that however if its the Wednesday I can do the morning sometime
~Emma~

Was just a quick visit to the nurse, let her know that Soph is now pooin daily again, and to ask about her head.. She is starting to get cradle crap... I knew it was gonna appen, i had it BAD as a bubba... She has said to rub sorbelone or baby oil on about 2 hours or so before a bath.. i guess i should be using some sort of shampoo on her hair.. i've just been using the bath stuff, i might start using shampoo ever 2nd day. How often do you all shampoo??
Is any of your bubbas fitting into shoes yet? We've had Sophie wearing her volleys the last few days

They are a size 1 and a little big, but as long as i have thick socks on with them they are fine

We have a few other size 2 shoes, im not gonna buy anymore, buts its so hard to resist and to even find some that fit!!!
_Alana_
Jun 23 2009, 03:02 PM
Ry has been wearing his size 1 puma's. The best and less shoes that are 0-3 months size are little big but i can get away with them on him. Ry wears shoes with every outifit and has two different pairs of slippers he wears at night.
We used a shampoo on Ry in his morning bath but it was making his milk pimples turn bright red and look worse. His milk pimples have almost cleared up so i will try it again later. I cant be bothered getting up but the brand starts with M, its a french brand and hard to get here. Its for newborns - it is meant to be fantastic for cradle cap

Monica, will be thinking of you on Thursday hon xoxo I am glad you and hubby managed to work things out. Its terrible when they are being pains in the arse but unreal when they admit they are being bastards

.
Summa, so good to hear from you. God you're sounding so busy!!! Make sure you touch base when you can and I hope everything goes smooth with the move. Summer looks gorgeous in her photos
Bee, we wont be starting tomorrow

. Basically hubby is getting the snip and we were going to get it done asap but have decided to wait in case we change our minds. It wouldn't be till Nathan was close to 3. Having said that, I will be 36 so not sure I could handle another newborn when I will be that old
Alana, Goodluck with the Gyno apppointment. Will they be able to tell you straight away what happened? Will you need any further treatment? Good to hear about the feeding and sleeping through the night. That is awesome!!
Emma, my emma had bad craddle cap too. We stopped using shampoo and I just used the QV washed because it's PH neutral. When it was really bad I got this stuff from the chemist called Egozite Cradle Cap by Ego. It really is a miracle ointment. You only need to use the smallest amount and within a week it was gone. When I saw it coming back I just did maintence!
~Emma~
Jun 23 2009, 04:18 PM
mum mentioned QV. She bahed her in it at her place the other day, and her hair was pretty oily for a few days... Didn't like how it made her hair, possibly mum just used too much??
Well, i have done all my jobs today, and now waiting for Sophie to wake up!!! i really didn't expect her to sleep this long,.. She has woken a few times, and put herself back to sleep, i could hear her talking

I need to make sure i click her door closed now, cause when she talks between sleep cycles, molly monster always goes in there and jumps at her cot....

and then she is really awake... She just loves her little human sister
Tonight we're having dinner at scott's parents, if we were staying at home, i'd be waking Soph up so it doesn't mess with her night sleep
~Emma~

Such a bg girl with ehr shoes on....
Monica
Jun 23 2009, 07:39 PM
LOL Emma, she looks ready for the tennis court, very timely for Wimbledon!
Well, we had our first bout of screaming this avo, lasted from 5 til around 6.30 when I gave her a bottle as she wouldn't take the boob. She fell asleep on my shoulder from shear exhaustion at around 7 and has been in her cot ever since, stirring every so often. Broke my heart to see her so upset. I tried a few things but nothing worked until the bottle went in her mouth. I doubt she was starving as she fussed over the bottle a little as well.
I am a little worried about her weight gain, she has been hovering around 5.7kg for a good couple of weeks now though I can't be certain of her exact weight as I have been weighing myself on my parent's digital scales then weighing myself again holding Nina. Going to see the ECHN next Friday so will weigh and ask about it then
Summa
Jun 23 2009, 08:20 PM
Monica, sorry to hear about your screaming episode, I hear sometimes babies just cry for no reason, especially that time of the night.
Lil has really bad nappy rash, her skin is actually peeling. I have been putting curash cream and sudocream on it but nothing is helping. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Monica
Jun 23 2009, 08:23 PM
Hmm, I alternate between paw paw, penaten and zinc and castor oil.
Are you using baby wipes? I find Nina sometimes gets a little irritated by them so I switch to water and tissues and if I do use the baby wipes, I wipe the wetness off with a tissue after.
You may need to see a doctor as I know there is normal nappy rash and then there is fungal which needs stronger cream
~Emma~
Jun 23 2009, 08:25 PM
Summa, i use sudocreme on every change as a preventative. I have heard that the biggest hing is to change bums more often as the wet nappy aggreviates it. You could also let her have a good kick without a nappy, they like it and the air will do good, otherwise just ensure her bum keeps nice and dry..
Nyree
Jun 23 2009, 09:40 PM
Summa, such cute pics of Lil! I’m not much help on the cream suggestions because Sudocream seems to work for us. Try talking to the pharmacist... they might have a suggestion.
Monica, you’ll be fine on Thursday. I can understand how you must be feeling about it though.
Alana, IF we have a third... Alan will be 3 before we even start trying. I hope you get some good news at your check up with the special gyno.
Emma, I haven’t even tried shoes on Alan... socks are fine for now for him. Plus we have those bonds socks that look like shoes

We had a great day today... went to Playgroup, then home for a sleep (mainly for Madison because Alan sleeps anywhere), then off to see Justine Clarke in concert (kids performer), then we went to Macca’s for Ice Cream and saw DH at work.
We have a Baby Clinic appointment tomorrow arvo... I can’t wait to see how Alan is doing.

Just popping in quickly while I get a chance

After yesterday saying that I was happy waking up once a night at the moment Chels decides to sleep from 930 - 6am

I of course woke up at 4am wondering what was going on and stayed awake until 5
Summa - Sorry I dont know what else you could try for the rash

I find sudo works well for us. Try cotton wool balls with abit of water or a face wash for a couple of days as it well be nicer on her bottom.

Had a shocker last night, and its my fault cause i said yes to dinner, and got her out of her night time routine

We got home at 8.30, gave her botle, into bed, she woke at 1.30 and was awake until 5.30 for her next bottle.. By then i was ropeable cause scottie still snoring so he "offered" to do her 5.30 bottle...
Gotta go, maybe BBL Sophie is awake now..

Fed Nina at 10.45, she settled by midnight and slept through til 8am - she could have probably gone longer but I wanted to make a start to the day -silly me went to bed at about 2.30, was watching the tennis, don't feel too bad though.
My SIL gave us a pair of pink puma's the other day and they are fitting nina well as long as she has socks on, they look so cut and I like that when we are out and about they keep her feet warm

What super Mum's you guys are! William always wears socks, but just because it's cold. He has a pair of shoes (somewhere) but i've only put them on him once or twice when we go somewhere special.
Summa- ouch! That sounds like a bad nappy rash. I don't have any suggestions, when Will is getting a little i just give him some nappy free time and it goes away....we've been pretty lucky so far.
Bee- what a great sleep last night! Fingers crossed she keeps it up.
Emma- sorry about your shocker of a night. Get some sleep today!
Monica- silly you staying up late. Was it worth it though?

How is the weight gain issue going? I get worried about Will too sometimes, he's been in 000 pretty much since he was born...but the doctor isn't worried, so i'm taking that to mean i shouldn't be either.
I had a horrible, terrible, not very good day yesterday. William wasn't even acting up that much- but i was stressed out of my head and just couldn't handle his crying (even though it was valid crying!) anymore. I made it to about 4:00pm when i sent DH a text message saying i was a terrible mother and i suck at having a baby so they might as well take him away (or something to that effect!). He was amazing and left work, and came home immediately (he was walking in the door fifteen minutes later, having stopped to get ice-cream first!).

He sent me straight to bed with a cup of tea and a good book, with instructions to get some sleep. It was amazing, and i felt sooo much better afterwards. I keep forgetting that sometimes i need a really decent break.
Anyway, William is due for his next feed so i'm off to do that! Will check in again later.

Sk, i was coming to post he EXACT thing... she seems to be drooling heaps, and every now and then, there is a spewy involved too, it doesn't seem to be bothering her, but its bothering me!! thank god i'm not one of those freakish clean mumma's who has to change the clothes everytime a bit of sewy ends up on them...

Paige is not drooling much, but I remember Rhianna was really bad, she always had a bib on I used to buy ones that matched her outfits to look nicer.
Here is Paige at one day old

and just under 8 weeks

Amy, wow what a fantastic husband you have there! Good to hear you are feeling better.
Alana, sometimes Alan has a smelly ear too.
SK, Alan is drooling a lot but it’s not making him spewy. I spoke to the nurse today and she said it was perfectly normal for this age.
Emma, hope you have a better nights sleep tonight!
Rikki, Paige is so cute!
Well our Baby Clinic appointment went well. Alan is now 65cm long and weighs a little over 6.1kg. His height is in the 95th percentile on the chart... everything else is average. Going to be a tall boy I think!
Alan has totally crashed for the night and I am going to treat myself to a Bundy! I am so looking forward to it... I’ll probably fall over after one though... it’s been over a year since I’ve had a drink!
GO QUEENSLANDER!!!

GO QUEENSLANDER.
Well, I have to be at the hospital at 6.30am tomorrow - what an early start.
Nina has been fed and will be going off to bed shortly, that's it for her for the night, given I will be getting up at 5am and feeding her then I thought I would bring the last feed forward, let's see how long she lasts.
Nina started to go feral again this afternoon at 5.15but Daddy was here so I handed her over and went and had a shower, by the time I got out she was asleep in his arms so we put her down,. She stirred a little but basically slept from about 5.30 til 8 when I woke her for the next feed.
Great weight gain Nyree, I really hope Nina is up around the 6kg mark, given she was heavy born she really should be at 6kg by now I think. I spoke to Mum about it today and that I was worried and she told me to stop it as she isn't screaming to be fed and seems happy enough and that I'm not starving her. Mum's are always good for some reassurance!
