Hey Ladies,
This is a bit random but im just wondering how ppl went with printing place cards? Is it better to cut them first then print each individually or to print a whole bunch on A4card and then cut them? I am terrible at using word and am struggling to line them up right no matter which way i try. is there some sort of template or trick i dont know about??? unsure.gif
Please help me!!

Print on one A4 sheet sweetie then cut - printers usually get hungry with small card and try to eat them.

As forthe lining up - use a table - you will be able to make all the rows the same size and leave one row blank (this is the back and the name on the other row, then put a very light grey border on the table so you have cutting lines. Have a play on normal paper first before you start printing on your fancy card/paper

I think someone had a template on here a little while back - search through the topics in the DIY section and you will find it

With ours, I printed them out and used a guillotine to cut them. Worked out great!
Chucky!
I cheated!

I brought clear sticky labels from officeworks and pre-cut place cards. You could barely see the label once it was stuck onto the card.

With the place cards I have made, I found that it was dead easy to just open the back up of my laser printer and hand feed them through. They just go straight through then. smile.gif

The other option is to print onto paper, then cut the paper and stick onto the card with double sided tape.

If you're going to cut them, just make sure it's with a guillotine so they're straight.

Good luck!
