Hi

Well i am very proud to say my son who is not quite 2 has been for the last 3 days using the potty all throughout the day for all his wee's and has started getting there in time for poo as well this morning - so everything is going great.

Soooo at the moment cause its warm im letting him run around with no pants on during the day, putting undies on at naptime and a nappy on at bedtime.
I was wondering how long/how many days should i let him be a rudie bum before i push the undies thing? He is able to take his shorts on and off previously but a lil slower, so not sure if i put him in undies during the day if he will have an accident from not getting them off in time...

Also the next question after that is how long do i let him use just the potty before i move him to the toilet? I was planning on moving the potty closer to the toilet at the end of this week so that he learns he has to get that far, but then its a different seat so didnt know if he would not like it...

Thoughts? I haven't done this before and am so happy we are making great progress that i dont want to disrupt him...

I actually found that putting knickers on my daughter HELPED with the toilet training. She would just wee in a nappy if she was wearing it, and, while she tried not to, she would sometimes just wee on the floor (or the grass if we were in the backyard) when she was a nudie rudie.

But she has never wet her undies. Maybe because she likes them so much (they're pretty and colourful).
