I thought i would surprise my dear friend Kylie for her 30th by making her my famous red velvet cake. What started out to be a small normal cake kinds turned out looking like this.. LOL i am so impressed with it and my efforts that i just have to show it off.

The cake its self is Red velvet With an orange Butter Crem

He absolutely blew me away!! It was the most delicious cake, and I have heaps left so lucky me. Sneaky little thing even came to the flower markets with me the day before to buy the flowers!!

Its a buttercream. basically just butter and PURE icing sugar and you beat and beat and beat some more. bit of vanilla and some finley grated orange rind...
