Hi Girls. I am hoping you can help me. I am having the above three colours as my theme and am mixing it with a bit of a romantic/vintage look. I'm thinking roses, lace and maybe pearls. Is anyone getting what I mean?!? Is it going to work?!? I know what I want, I am just having ALOT of trouble picturing it! Anyway, there seems to be so many of you that are so good at putting it from idea to reality, I thought you may be able to help me. Thanks heaps!!

Melanie - what a beautiful wedding you must have had!!! Love the BM dress - that is the same colour that I am looking for! And did your men wear brown pinstriped suits? I'm looking for them too - don't suppose you rented them?? Also, your placecard chairs are just too cute - where did you find them? And those parasols are divine!! Well done!

Melanie - your wedding is absolutely beautiful - and very much with what I am thinking! The colours are fab. Do you have any photos of what you did for centrepieces? - I'm a bit stuck with this. Your dress is simply stunning - I love it - I am thinking of something very similar. I was also wondering like previous poster about the boys suits - have been tossing up whether to have them in black or brown.

No problems girls! To answer your questions -

*boys wore brown pinstirped suits that can be bought or hired from Spu!ing Formal Wear
*BM dress was from DJ's - $160 to buy
*placecard chairs were from Fr33dom, but over a year ago. We only had them at the bridal table, too exxy for everyone!
*parasols were like finding gold, I got them off a lovely member of i-do! Couldn't find them anywhere else!
*centrepieces were pink organza table runners, round mirrors with pearl garland, hurricane vase with brown bow and lace covered pillar candle inside. This is the best pic I have...

Wow, Melanie your wedding looked stunning. How did you go about getting the bridesmaids to wear that type of colour/ dress? My girls are already kicking up their heels at my chosen colour (it's more of a softer vintage pink).

Out of curiosity where did you get those table easels? I completely adore them.

I only had one BM and she chose that colour, so no problem getting her to wear it I basically told her she could wear whatever she wanted as long as it looked good with the brown suits and the other pinky tones we were having. This colour really suited her anyway so that was good too.

The table easels were from IKEA.
