Hello DIY-ers!

I have a multifunction printer and has been working alright for all of our wedding DIY tasks so far but I'm looking for something a little better. For those who have done all the printing themselves, what printer did you use and would you recommend it to someone else? I think that I will need to buy a new one for my Thank You Cards and would LOVE to have something that will work well.

Thank you in advance!

we have a brother multifunction, which i have done things that require colour ink on, like our letterhead. For our invites and such like, we have a Brother HL2040 laser printer.

I didnt like printing on the muiltfunction when i wanted black in, as on our metallic paper it looked washed out and cruddy. Whereas the laser printed black and crisp. Its a super easy printer to use, just plug and print, and is quite cheap for a laser printer. I saw they were on special at DickSmith for around $120. OH, and i have had the same ink cartridge for 18 months, and i do a fair bit of printing, whereas we have replaced the multi cartridges twice in 10 months.

I used my work printer - a HP laser printer. Brilliant.
