i was looking at some prices on wotif for various hotels and noticed they have a ridiculously cheap room, but you dont know what hotel it is.
I was just wondering has anyone ever booked a room like this and which hotel did you end up with.
TIA

I haven't on wotif, but my friend did on lastminute and got the swisshotel.
You can usually work out what it is by seeing what description says about the facilities.
I think allure actually booked her wedding night accommodation with a secret hotel.

I was going to say Allure got her wedding night hotel in a similar way to that, and ended up with a really nice place.

I agree that you can pretty much guess by the description they give. I know some one who booked and got a nice place also

we booked one ages ago before the wedding as a bit of a 'getaway from everyone' and ended up at the Hilton in sydney in a very very nice room!

We have used this aswell and agree that you can normally work out which hotel it is, You just need to do a little homework. In my experience the hotel descriptions will be identical to the hotels actual listing.

We booked one of these last year, although there were sort of clues so we had a pretty good idea which hotel it was. It was a really nice room in a 5 star hotel and we got if for a lot cheaper than the normal rack rate.

Never done it on wotif but usually on lastminute.
you just search for a hotel room like normal and in teh results page the 'secret' hotels will be listed too. And it IS pretty easy to work out what the hotel is, we scored the Amora Jamieson last time which is beaut.
