I still can't believe how big her engagement ring is. You can see it so clearly in the pictures, even if they are not of her ring.

A friend of ours went to the wedding, as he is close friends with Lleyton Hewitt and has travelled the circuits with him. He said it was one of the nicest weddings he had been to - it wasn't 'out there' like come celebrity weddings, but a very relaxed atmosphere!

He said the media hype was just too much though... you could hear the helicopters flying around whilst the ceremony was happening in the Opera House. He also said all of the guests were flanked by photographers when the guests got off the boat at Taronga Zoo... including our friend who had photographers in his face!

It was rather exciting to hear him talk about it though... apart from all of the media hype it just sounded like a normal wedding!

Sure was, she was 5 or 6 months pregnant.

But I am glad because at least they were not shoving the baby into everyones faces at the time like they do now. "HERE LOOK AT MY CHILD, HOW WONDERFUL IS OUR FAMILY!!!" ugh i have had enough!

Can somebody please put the "Walk me down the aisle Daddy. It's nearly time. Does my dress look pretty daddy? Daddy don't cry" comment into context?

Why is it that grown women think its perfectly acceptable to call their fathers 'daddy' like their still cute little children all innocent and doll-like? If my HTB called his mother 'Mummy' repeatedly (or even at all) I'd be very disturbed.

It's a line from the song "Butterfly Kisses" by Bob Carlisle that's often played at wedding as the father/daughter dance song.. if that helps smile.gif

hahaha you ladies..some of these comments are funny! im not a huge fan of the hewitt family but bugger some aspects of their wedding were stunning as was she...
im sure their nice people but im very over lleytons gross hair you'd think with his money he could afford shampoo huh especially for his wedding!

also a bit over doing my groceries with them looking at me week after week especially when in most pics bec is smiling but looks drained, sad & lonely...and if you dont want people annalysing your "happy" marriage stop doing the womens mag circuit!
sorry got a bit carried away...lol

Her dress was absolutely stunning and she looked beautiful. But that's about the only thing that I personally liked about the whole shebang (that I have seen photos of, of course).

I really disliked the two tone bridesmaid dresses, they didn't suit the girls but at least she was trying to go for something different I guess.... but really, there can be something said for carrying a frangipani theme too far - especially in the middle of winter. rolleyes.gif

I was appalled by Lleyton's hair. It's called SHAMPOO! You should know about it Lleyton, it's advertised all throughout Womans Day!

They ceratainly have put some pressure on themselves to maintain the 'we are so perfect, we love ourselves sick' profile that they have built for themselves. So good luck with that.
