My dress arrived yesterday 2 weeks late and THE WRONG COLOUR!!!!!! mad.gif mad.gif mad.gif mad.gif Yes you are reading correctly, instead of the gorgeous pinky ivory colour which the company calls 'almond' my dress was 'Toffee'. Kinda like a yellowy browny icky yuk colour. I was so mad that I said a naughty word to the office manager and when the sales manager Jodi came to see what was wrong I just bawled. They have emailed the manafacturer and they have started cutting again and I should have MY dress in 2 weeks. The mistake was made by the manafacturers not that bridal store but still. Why is it that when one thing goes right three other things go wrong?

At least they are fixing it, and you will still have it in plenty of time. It'll be ok!

That is so bad!

I got mine a month ago now and when I first tried in there was a makeup stain on it!!! I can't believe how calm I reacted,,,...however I was boiling on the inside. They even suggested it could have been me...but they promptly took that back after I said to them 'does it look like I'm wearing make-up'...hmmm it's fixed now, but it shouldn't happen.

I think they should offer you some form of small discount or something, especially if it's drawing close to your wedding day.

You poor thing Emma, the last thing you need is stress like that. At least they are on to it and you have a bit of time up your sleeve.

A friend of mine went to have her first fitting and the manufacturer had misread the order and made up her dress in a size 6 instead of a 16 ! They were very apologetic and ended up sending her a matching wrap & some other accessories that were extras for free when they sent the right sized dress a few weeks later.

It'll all work out, try not to stress too much.
