How cute Carla smile.gif What are your FG's wearing?

Candy - thanks so much smile.gif

I'm at home doing an assignment for uni, which is why I'm posting so much (and not getting much assignment done hehe).

This is what my daughters are wearing to the wedding. It was hard to find them both something, since one is a size 10 and one is a size 2.

Wow - I don't think I've ever seen this place so busy - must be the wedding stress wacko.gif

Sent the OOS to the priest and laid it out ready to be proof-read and printed.

Forgot to say we bought HTB his dinner suit today. He looks SO spunky in it biggrin.gif

Better still - managed to suck up to MIL2B - she rang yesterday and said 'there's a store that.....' so we checked it out this morning and ended up getting his suit there. She actually rang about 1 style (assuming I'd prefer it) but I actually far preferred a different style which turned out to be the one she also liked! Oh - HTB liked that one too rolleyes.gif

Anyway - MIL2B now feels she was involved in the selection of the suit tongue.gif

LOL poor Gabriele! What nationality are you Carla?

Puggie - the high post volume from me is part stress/part assignment-delaying wink.gif Anyone want to do a Legal Studies assignment for me?

Juless - thanks smile.gif

LOL that's cute!

We still have to pay for photography, pay for our rings, pay off the reception, receive RSVP's (they are due October 1st but I don't foresee receiving 60 replies in the nest few days). I still need to lose about 5 kilos, can that be on my to-do list as well?

We have done everything pretty much, just need to pay balances of things.

My hens night is October 14th and FH's is on october 7th, so those are the next two 'priorities' I guess smile.gif

What are you all doing for your Hens Nights?

Okay we need to...

* I think I might have another hair trial. I'm not entirely sure on the one I had. I love the style and all..but I dunno..maybe I could get your opinions on it. I feel funny posting it though.

* Makeup trial...I originally booked a lady my friend had at her wedding..but now am thinking of going with another chick so I have to have a trial with her..
* Dress fitting - eek!
* Pay off transport for the bridal party.
* Chaircovers/bon bons...can't do until I know numbers..
* Pick up Bridesmaid necklaces and gift for MC (not sure yet, any ideas?)
* Lingerie for the wedding night. I have my lingerie for under my dress but want something sexy for the wedding night...

Oh and...for my hens night....I'm not entirely sure!! but I bought a dress all the same laugh.gif any excuse really...however I've since found another one I like too. hmm.

My beautiful Bridesmaid Jacci is helping me organise something. I am having it in Sydney (getting married back home in Albury) and so I'm not entirely sure on what we are doing yet. Looking into something pamerping and perhaps a cruise or cocktails in the city. I want it to be cost effective because some of my friends will be travelling which is a cost on its own!

I want something memorable and nice and fun. Nothing to do with strippers. I'm not really into that sorta stuff for my hens night. Just want something where we can get all dressed up, feel a million bucks and have a really memorable night with my friends.

x

Candy - I had never posted pics of myself on the internet before either (besides on my myspace site)...I felt weird too wink.gif Post your pics though, I love looking at what other people are having done. I got my ideas for my own trial from the makeup section on this site.

I don't have lingerie either, I looked at an Undercover Wear catalogue but nothing grabbed me. I might go to Bras 'n' Things and look there.

Wow, I replied without realising there was 3 pages I hadn't read. Where do I start!?

Pinky: Gorgeous invites, I'd love receiving one and wouldn't want to ever throw it out.

Mazs, I like how the makeup looks inside, but outside it looks a little washed out to me? I'd maybe go a bit pinker on the cheeks? The flowergirl dresses look sooo cute!

Juless: Bummer about the dress. I hope it goes better next time. At least it's still Sept.

Carla: Your dress gives you a wonderful waist smile.gif

I had a bit of a meltdown on wed/thurs with all the wedding planning and stress, plus had an argument with h2b cuz he was pissed that the guest list was bigger than we wanted and things were expensive so he was ignoring me and blew up over anything. I just wanted to drill something through my brain to relieve the pressure. Called in sick on Friday to try and recover.

Getting really tired of DIY now too. I'm working on the programs and it's just tedious now. My friend Minh was over on Saturday and we wrapped bonboniere so that was good, I wasn't looking forward to that task either.

SIGH.

You sound like you need a break *hugs* It all gets a bit stressful sometimes doesn't it? I'm trying not to think about how close the wedding is, and how much we still have to do. I haven't even touched my bomboniere, they are still in the box.

Maree I have to start my own myspace. I just haven't had time! I just had a quick look at yours and see that your studying to be a teacher. smile.gif Me too but a primary school teacher.

I had a look at Bras n Things yesterday and nothing appealed to me there! I might check out some online sites and department stores for a greater range.

Maiko I always say to my fiance' if we can get through planning this wedding, we can get through anything laugh.gif Its all so stressful at times and I hate it when we get upset with each other over something wedding related! Like Maree said, means you need a break for a while..

I never knew how stressful weddings can be! I don't think u realise until u experience it yourself.

Bring on November so we can start to enjoy all the hard work! tongue.gif

Thats fantastic! biggrin.gif Do you like it?

I am in my fourth year and would be completing this semester but as I changed uni's halfway through I have another 6 months. So I will fianlly finish mid 2007! yeah! laugh.gif

I will try and find some time to start one. I'm sure I'll manage with all these assignments I have at the moment. Usually when I'm at my busiest I always find something to distract me, which is when I started my wedding website. tongue.gif
