Hello... i'm new to the forum
I was wondering if anyone had ever been to a really nice reception venue in anywhere in sydney that isn't too expensive... probably for up to 60 people (so fairly small) Looking at getting hitched in late 2006! |

Hi and Welcome!
You're lucky because you are only having 60 people. I know that the gorgeous LOrd N3lsOn Hotel at the Rocks does very intimate, beautiful rustic receptions at their great restaurants for smallish groups? Otherwise, there are many restaurants that may be able to help? i'll have a think and see if i can come up with something more Shellbee x -------------------- |

After being screwed over by my first reception venue at the last minute I had to take my only option, the novotel, and wow, was it amazing. it was stunning and they did an amazing job for very little money. we had 60 people as well and I couldn't recommend them more, I know they have a few loactions in Sydney CBD and Darling Harbour, might be worth looking into.
I'm not sure if the ones in the city are the same but I had the most expensive package which was like 8 coarses of food, flowers and cake included with fairy lights and drapery through the ceiling, chair covers and bows alcohol the works, plus our co ordinator who was wonderful. Worth a look anyway. -------------------- Kolohe Inc - Because life doesn't stop.

Yeah the novotel for us was 99 per person but for 60 people considering it included everything it worked out to be much cheaper and better value than anywhere we had looked. I guess everything happens for a reason. Without those nasty people at the Lag00n we would have never ended up at the novotel.
Which end of Sydney are you coming from? Anything out of the inner city is going to come down immediatly in price. -------------------- Kolohe Inc - Because life doesn't stop.
