i made mine.
save the date cards i designed them on the computor, the same size as a photo and then printed them at a digital photo printing station at the mall for $0.30 each and then stuck magnets on the back from the craft shop. came to about $0.35 each. -------------------- |

We just finished making ours! We enlisted the help of an arty friend with the design - business sized cards featuring a B&W photo of us and a speech bubble reading 'save the date' They were done in a pop art style so the background was little red spots.
Of course our names and the date were printed on the front. On the reverse side we printed 4 motel recommendations and 'invite to follow.' We laminated them ourselves and put a tiny bit of magnetic strip on the back. Oh and we only used normal white printing paper but the laminating makes it stiff like cardboard...Colour laser printing also helps. Good luck. I think making them yourself can be fun and is definitely cheaper!! -------------------- |

I've made mine but don't have any pictures because fiance has taken off with camera!
Mine were really basic - printed out simple wording, pasted the paper onto square of cardboard, finished with strip of japanese paper, then used contact adhesive and a magnet bought at a craft store! Haven't sent them out yet.... -------------------- |
