The only place i have tried is galleria flowers in morley, they quoted me $395 for my bouqet, 2 bm bouqet, 5 buttonholes and 2 corsgaes, but reception decorations were astronomical - $50 each for centrepieces!!
I really want to find somewhere that does roses well

Hi

If you are out Willetton way there is a really good florist around the corner from me. I am unsure of costs though. Sorry I cant be of more help than that at this present moment.

Try the Seedbox Co... she's based in Mundaring in another florists store, but she does all her own weddings/events etc... she's a gorgeous girl, and is very happily using the flowers from mum's garden in my bouquets etc, as well as incorporating bought flowers...

for corsages (3 wrist), bouquets(4), buttonholes (7) (havent figured out reception flowers yet), it will cost me a grand total of.... $217 biggrin.gif I have grand hopes of getting all my flowers for under $500... I think I might get it too.. biggrin.gif

She can do normal traditional styles, or really funky stuff... she's very clever and after giving her a very general idea of what I wanted, Im more than confident of just letting her go ahead and do what she thinks will suit. Im gushing I know, but she's just great!

If you want her details, just PM me.

Hey Cassa,

I looked the Seedbox up, their flowers look gorgeous.

Also found the type of centrepeice I was considering so now I have a picture of it!

My wedding is on 10th December also! Ours will be in Fremantle; what about you?

lol I'm at the Galleria all the time and couldn't believe the quote.
I am looking at Warwick tomorrow they have two florists there and do some really pretty arrangements, so I will PM you and tell you if they sound reasonable.

For the reception table arrangements the place we are probably booking (going to view it tomorrow so excited) supplies candlelabras (eek spelling?) so if they are up to scratch I am just scattering some petals around the bases biggrin.gif If not I am looking to pick up some clear bowls, bit of water, so floating candles and rose petals, a cheaper alternative to individual flowers.

hahaha it's so funny you should mention the seedbox co
There's only 2 florists in Mundaring (Mdg is a small place so thats more than enough)
I had them both as my neighbours, with me in the middle. teehee. One (Kate from Mdg florist and artistry) still lives there next to my dad, the others (the men from the one next to coles) moved a couple of years ago.lol. I even did work experience at Mundaring Florist and Artistry and worked on bridal bouquets etc. It was realllly fun, but realllly hard!! You have to be so careful! White petals bruise if u even touch them lightly!!

It's good to hear the prices are good, coz i always planned on using a Mdg florist anyways, it's more personal and special when u have ppl u know prepare the things for ur wedding. biggrin.gif

I had mine done through Leslie at Jesson Flowers.

She was pretty cheap. Bridal bouqet, 2 BM bouqets, 2 FG Bouqets, 1 Corsage, 5 button holes and a throwaway bouqet, all done in silk frangi's and roses and only cost me $250.

I was so impressed with her work, and she's great at giving you want you want at a price you can afford.

Hi there,
If you are looking for fabulous roses I know just the place!! I don't think we are allowed to just name companies willy-nilly, so please email me if you want the details. But, pretty much this lady is the wholesaler to a lot of florists, which means cutting out the middle-man. She doesn't advertise, because she doesn't have to - she gets business through word-of-mouth and is always flat-out. She has quoted me $130 for my bouquet of 48 roses - she has so many colours to choose from. She is located in Brookdale (back of Armadale). She grows all the roses on her property as well!!
Hope this helps.
PS she also has Singapore Orchids.
