just had the best day yesterday...
even though my 15 year old daughter rolls her lovely eyes and says she's sick of hearing me obsess about our wedding, she offered -- unprompted!!! -- to play "when i'm 64" on her trumpet after the ceremony! she's a fantastic muso and it will be soooo perfect! and then..... i spoke to my nearly 17yr old son who lives in the u.s... said to him that i sooo wished he could be there but i know mid feb was too difficult in terms of missing school etc, and his response was "mom, AS IF i would be there for your wedding!!!" and then explained to me exactly how he'd make up the work. i was gobsmacked, as it had never really occurred to me that he'd be there and i thought i wouldn't see him til june when i go over. so how excited am i?!?!!! i'll have all 4 of my kids (17, 15, 6, and 2) and both paul's kids (10 & 6) and all will be complete!  -------------------- |

Oh, that IS wonderful news. I don't blame you for being so excited. It's going to be a huge celebration for you to share with all of your kids.
