Hi Girls,

I have not really posted in this section before as I spend most of my time in the Babies section but one of my besties is getting married in Nov and she is considering ordering the Bridesmaid dresses online but is scared that they will not arrive or will be the wrong size or bad quality etc.

I was just hoping for some feedback on any sites that are good/reliable that you have used.

She is currently looking at this dress and was thinking that she might order one and see what it's like - has anyone ever used this site before?

Any feedback would be much appreciated.

TIA smile.gif

I was recently BM for a wedding where the bride ordered our dresses online.
She wasn't at all worried about it, but us BM's were! It was a company that did made-to-fit and all you did was email them your measurements.
I can honestly say that I wub.gif loved my dress. It fit like a glove and I've not seen a dress like it in-store her in Australia. My dress required no alterations and was very affordable, considering it had a train and was hand embroidered.

It's a punt. It could have gone terribly wrong, but for us, it worked out just perfectly!

Good luck! smile.gif

I've heard an equal amount of success and horror stories.

I think it's worth a go, providing you/she order with LOTS of time available to fix problems- you don't want the dresses turning up three days before the wedding and being horrific.

Good luck!

I ordered my bridesmaids dresses online and, unfortunately, I have a horror story.

I found the dresses online, did hours & hours of research looking at all the reviews I could find. And over 99% of the reivews were positive or extremely positive. I ordered in plenty of time and was promised they would be here by a certain date.
The date came & went and no dresses. Many many emails from myself, husband and bridesmaids and plenty of tears from me and still nothing. In the end I found an UK phone number on the net, DH rang and rang and rang with no response. Eventually they emailed us back and kept pushing the date further & further back.

After all this, I decided that the only thing I could do was to go and purchase 4 new bridesmaids dresses with just over 2 weeks before the wedding. I went and had to pay over $1000 for 4 more dresses and had to change my colour scheme a little. In the end I preferred the second dresses but it still doesn't make up for the stress.

I have never ever ever in my life felt stress like that stress then. My advice to anyone purchasing online is to do so with caution and have a back up plan.
