My AF usually lasts 3-4 days, that's from when it starts to when it's completely gone. Lately I've noticed they last from 2-3 days, and this cycle I bled for 2 days only. Today is day 3 and there's nothing, so now I'm working myself up into a tizz.
Just wondering (hoping) if there are others out there with short bleeds....is it normal? Should I be worried? How long does your AF last? -------------------- |

I started a thread not so long ago asking the same question (I'll find it for you)..
Mine has definitely shortened as I've got older - when I was around 16 - 17 it would be 5 days easily, now I'm lucky (not quite sure that adjective suits) to make it 3 full days. ETA: my mistake. It wasn't this exact question as such, but it does have some replies that might be of use to you http://community.i-do.com.au/index.php?sho...=146880&hl= -------------------- |

Crisis - mine has gone from being about 6 days when I was a teenager to now being 2 1/2 days at most and it has gone from so excessively heavy to a medium to light flow - more on the light side. This could have something to do with the PCOS but then again it could also be the fact we are getting older

Crisis - mine shortened after I had DS. They use to be 6-7 days very heavy for 3days then medium for 3 then if there was days 7 it was light. This reduced down to about 5-6days after DS. Medium to heavy 1st few days reducing down to medium. Then I started using the Diva cup and it dropped another day in length so about 4 days. Heavyish 2 days then pretty light.
For me I put it down to having DS and change in hormones. I also didn't have any problems falling again (took 9ish months, but not hardcore trying) but I always had very obvious EWCM. -------------------- |

My periods have always been pretty much a non-event. 2.5 to 3 days max, very light, 35 day cycles, no cramping etc. Am one of the lucky ones in this regard.
