20Flowers/www_wedding-flowers-and-reception-i.jpg[/img] I like these ones, same ribbon etc, I think it will be subtle (not too much purple or variations of purple) and also tie in your dress if there is a white or cream ribbon as well as matching the kind of vibe of the satin ribbon in the dresses ETA- pic didn't work out...oops...it's the third lot in Jade's post (last pic in Jade's post) -------------------- |

Don't frequent the wedding section too much anymore but what style is your dress and do you know what style for your boquet?
Your BM dresses are gorgeous! but with such a dark purple I think you need boquets that dont blend into the dresses too much in photos. Also, don't think tulips are in season that early I like ![]() cause they have a much lighter feel that would contrast well and these ![]() because I think the green would break up the dark purple and complement your dresses nicely. -------------------- Currently posting from DH's phone and tablet whilst my laptop is in PC hospital. This one is my favourite >
![]() I think the green in it will complement the purple nicely and it's nice to have a little bit of a different colour in there so the purple doesn't overpower everything? Maybe just so it's not all too much purple? In fact I looooooveeee this one so much I think I might steal it and see if my florist can do it for mine (if you don't mind me "borrowing your idea of course!) All of the ones you have collected look amazing though Sarah, I have had so much trouble finding bouquets I like the look of in pics etc and there were none in your photobucket that I didn't like - love them all! They are all beautiful so whichever you choose you can't go wrong |

I love this one also
![]() If you had a top couple you love why dont you just send them all to your florist and see what they come up with on the day (they may combine a few looks), be specific if you love a certain style but say you are willing to mix up the types and colours of flowers. This is what i did and i loved having the surprise when i saw my gorgeous gorgeous bouquet on the day!! -------------------- |

I like this idea...
![]() I think it would look so nice for the girls to have a predominately white bouquet with purple highlights, and your bouquet to be predominately purple with white highlights. This way your dresses will really pop against the flowers and vice versa. I think if you have too much purple in your BMs bouquets, it will all blend in too much and you wont see the detail. With Tulips, I know they are a Winter flower. I was told the posiibility of having tulips for my wedding (which is the week before yours) was very slim, especially considering they are expecting a very hot summer. -------------------- |

Tulips are one of my fave flowers, whn I was getting quotes for my flowers in April, a florist suggested silk tulip flowers and live foliage. She had done several bouquets out of season like this and they looked the real deal....just a thought -------------------- |

I vote for this one:
![]() However, I have this photo that I saved for my BM's.... As you are having dark purple dresses; having a light purple'ish bouquet will have stunning contrast especially in photos You could have the stems completely covered in a dark purple satin and even have the bouequet framed with dark purple organza instead of greenery.... .. some food for thought Good Luck xx |
