Hi,
I was wondering what you girls think of the colours I have decided on. I want white table cloths, chair covers and maybe my dress (I haven't decided yet as I saw a beautiful pale pink one and I might go for that yet). The bridesmaid dresses will either be pale pink or rose red. The men will have rose red ties or whatever. I am having the red/black roses and pale pink carnations for my flowers. I am using gold as the highlighter colour, so it is on my invitations (when they get made) the invitations will be red and pink with gold hearts. I am sure there are more things that I have organised with those colours but I cant think right now. Thanks for any input. -------------------- |

hmmmm its a hard colour set to google, but some of the other ladies are pro's and will probably be much more help.
i think they could look great together so long as you don't go OTT with the colours i would probably go with red for the BM dresses as having pink dresses with red roses could make them look washed out and pull all the attention to the flowers JMO i'd probably just go with red roses and skip the black, because in my head black roses (dark purple) pink and red might be a bit to much, do u have any pics of the combination? ![]() ![]() ![]() -------------------- |

Sounds like a lot of colour that will look great if done right but could be risky?
Red and pink together for example can sometimes look really bad, but in the right shades is gorgeous, so you may want to spend a bit of time looking for just the right shades of colours. Good luck with everyone - its certainly going to pop and have a big impact -------------------- ![]() |

Hi thanks for input,
The roses were hard for me to explain, they are the really dark red ones that have a blackish tinge to them, so a very dark red. I don't have any photos of what I want and if I did I have no idea how to post them on here. I was thinking of having the pale pink carnations with a few of the red roses something pretty plain. I have found the two colours (the pink and red and they do go well together), I may change my mind about having too much of them together, but I already have to card for the stationery so I am hoping that it looks good. Again I would post the one that is made up (only temporary and not completely finished) but I don't know how to get photos up. I guess I will just have to keep playing with the colours. Thanks for being honest. -------------------- |
