White orchids? Roses? Lilies?

You can incorporate the light blue colour into the BM bouquets - for example I was a BM in a wedding where she had frangipanis & had us in electirc blue & we had round frangi bouquets with dotted stephanotis sprayed in blue (fake flowers). For real flowers though there are hydrangeas & many other filler flowers you could put into their bouquet to tie in with the white!

How ivory is your dress - there are alot of shades wink.gif But I've seen plenty of ivory brides with gorgeous white bouquets - you can surround the white flowers with lush green leaves & then it creates a border around your white & brings out your ivory dress

I had an ivory dress but I did go for a creamy bouquet. I had creme de la creme roses which were a creamy ivory with a pinkish edge in a teardrop/cascade shape with magnolia leaves & soft fern.... & I had pastel colours for the BM's - the BM's had pastel pink & yellow roses with freesias & magnolia leaves... it all looked perfect together!

You should show us your dress n BM dresses & what flowers you like... then we can really brainstorm biggrin.gif

I had an ivory dress and cream roses, my florist also put a few pinky red buds in there as well to break it up a bit.

Here is my bouquet with my bm's

I am having purple tulips, but when speaking with the florist she advised against white flowers because they get washed out in photos... she suggested ivory flowers, or if white mix them with other colours just to break it up a bit.

I have a very dark Ivory colour, almost a (light) latte.

I'm carrying Cream DA Roses, Sahara (coffee colour) roses, and a few antique (dusty pink) roses with some cream carnations in there to break the roses up.

i dont see anything wrong with white for you, but i would look at maybe breaking it up a bit, so talk to a florist and see if they can recommend any flowers which are a shade of blue, and / or some greenery. Your bm's could get away with an all white bouquet though, as they have their dress to break up the colour, iykwim.

i had an ivory dress with champagne coloured trim, and my flowers were champagne roses and red alstromerias. My girls were in dk red, and they had red roses, alstromerias, and cream lissianthas.

Not at all lovely.

I had an ivory dress with white cybidium orchids...

Most ivory dresses, unless they are that real yellowy ivory, only look a touch off white anyway, and as fabric is a different textile to a flower petal people wont assume they are to match?

I had an ivory dress and a mixture of white/ivory flowers, here's a pic with them against my dress.

I think that with your pale colour scheme whites would look best.
