I have been knitting a gorgeous hoodie for my niece for Christmas. Based on the last one I knitted I *thought* I had enough wool - but you know what thought thought don't you (as my Dad says).

I have run out of 1 colour of wool!!! If I can't get this wool I have to undo all that I have done
sad.gif I really don't want to do that because I only have one sleeve to do!!!! 18cm of sleeve!!!!!

I am DESPERATE - because my local spotlight has had a MASSIVE sale, and I can't get this colour wool there....

Is there ANYONE out there that would be willing to go to their local spotlight and have a look for me (or if you have the colour at home and would be willing to part with 30metres - I would be ETERNALLY grateful!!

I am willing to pay cost of wool and postage if someone can purchase one or is willing to part with some that they have at home.

The wool is from the Moda Vera range (a spotlight range) and it is called 'Opera' - the colour of this Opera wool is a mix of pink, green, browny orange and purple - I don't have the actually colour number any more cause I (being silly) threw it out.

If anyone can PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE help I would so much appreciate it!!!!!!!

Cxx

Thank you Moore!

I don't care if I end up with 10 balls of this wool - with everyone looking for me! (I can always use more wool ph34r.gif )

Have you tried ordering it on the spotlight website? Or calling their order hotline 1300 305 405? The online shopping is aimed at the catalogue specials (which hey, your wool might be in) but it does say: if you would like to order another product we stock you can enter those details on the form.

It's actually one of the Winter Discontinued lines - so if they don't stock it in store they can't get it in - I asked this morning when I went in. Plus the fact that I don't have the number from the wool (cause I threw out the wrapper with the all important info on it - cause I'm silly)

So I'm hoping that there is a spotlight store out there with one of the balls of wool - our Spotlight only had 1 ball of any kind of Opera left...

I will keep checking this, but i was going to go to spotlight tomorrow, so i will look for you and if there hasnt been any successful replies, i will get it (if it is there).

Any excuse to go to spotlight,

Thank you to everyone that is going to have a look for me - you wouldn't believe how much I appreciate this.

I was nearly in tears this morning in Spotlight because I couldn't find what I wanted and then when I was told that what was there was it - nearly more tears...

That will teach me to double and triple check how much wool I'll need before I start knitting my next project!!

Sorry I haven't had a chance to get on here earlier - but I checked on Friday and they had every bloody other range in the Moda Vera brand except Opera. I even asked one of the ladies working there to help me look and she couldn't find anything in the Opera range either. I'm sorry sad.gif
