Hi girls,
This is a question for a friend of mine. My friend is thinking about booking Angs@ra Resort (in Cairns) for her ceremony/reception next September. She hasn't been there herself. Has anyone here been there to stay, been to a wedding there or been married there themselves? The photos on the Internet sure look divine. I hope it is as good in person. Thanks heaps, Belinda xoxo P.s. Enjoy planning your weddings! I-do.com helped me out so much when I was planning mine. It was truly the best day of my life. I hope my friend has an equally wonderful day (and all you girls too). -------------------- |

Hi there - we got married out the front of the resort on the grassed area (right on the beach). I haven't stayed there but the grounds are beautiful. The only thing that Angsana doesnt have in it's favour is that it's not new... next door is the Sea Temple - absolutely stunning. We almost booked our ceremony and reception there - but we wanted dancing and we wanted our reception outdoors - which we couldn't do at the Sea Temple. Both are very expensive but the Sea Temple by far is the more impressive - it's only a year or 2 old - when we first went there it took my breath away. I hope that helps
Heidi Oh, and I should add that the little beachfront Chapel that Angsana has is gorgeous in real life, just like the website shows it to be (not cheap though!). Feel free to ask me any other questions, I'd be happy to help -------------------- |
