Here was our DIY cupcake cake - my Nanna made the top tier as traditional fruicake, but all the cupcakes we made as Mississippi Mudcake and they were DELISH!!! We put little colourful paper butterflies on the top of each cupcake. You can't really see them very well in this photo though

This is going to be ours, but the flowers on top will be dusty pink and champagne colour roses and lilies.

this seems an approiate place to post so I will..
Are Cupcake Cakes More Expensive then normal cakes? I only want about 40 -50 (depending on final numbers) and a Smallish (15cm sq) traditional cake, Is this something I should expect to pay alot for or does it cut costs? I am not too worried about a fancy stand as I am thinking of mum's silver cake stand or a Shallow Basket as I am having a country theme. also does anyone have an approximate price so I can put it in the budget -------------------- |

Ours cost about $2.50 per cupcake. Good luck -------------------- |
