I'm loving this still - which is weird for me, as I've never ever watched any of the reality singing shows. When I first started watching it, I thought "I'll just watch the auditions ..." as I was just curious. But I'm hooked now.

I always record it just because 2 hours is just too long to watch all at one (I'm not much of a TV watcher ph34r.gif ) so we usually watch it over Monday and Tuesday nights. Which means I won't be coming on here on Tuedays in case of spoilers!

Who does everyone else like? and who do you want to win?

My faves:
1. Darren Percival. LOVE him. I would buy his CD.
2. Karise Eden
3. Viktoria Bolonina

There's others I love too - so much talent! But those are my "stand outs". Doesn't help that a few of my friends have said that Viktoria reminds them of me wub.gif (I wish)

Agree with you RaeJane, I would buy Darren's CD as well... I keep watching his perfromances on youtube or listening on itunes smile.gif If you read the speil about him on the Voice FB Page it says something along the lines of although he has been performing for a long time he was never picked up by the music industry as he did not fit the mould of what they are looking for wacko.gif

I am also a fan of Fatai, she is probably number 4 for me now? Dianna from Delta's team is not bad either... I loved her performance of 'Alone' by Heart.... the wind machine was funny too!

What are your thoughts about Glen on Delta's team... do you think she is showing him favouritism? Also, what was up with Karise the other night? For the first time ever she looked nervous? unsure.gif Maybe she didn't agree with the song choice for her from Seal? I loved her performance though..... Landslide is one of my favourite Fleetwood Mac songs smile.gif

You've got to question the people in the music industry then if they can pass on someone with a voice as incredible as Darren's! I guess that's what I liked about how they conducted The Voice auditions.

Hmm. Not sure. I had previously thought that Joel would show favouritism towards Mahalia, and was shocked when he didn't pick her. I do think he would have done better with another coach though, like Chris Sebastian going with Seal. I must say, I didn't think much of Chris ... until his performance the other night, whoa! He was good.

I'm going to put this out there ... and this might be a bit of a bold thing to say, and I might get shot down for it. I really do believe that Racheal Leahcar has a good chance of winning, but more because she is known as "The Blind Girl". I'm not saying she doesn't have a good voice, because she definitely does - but I prefer others to her. I haven't heard any constructive critiscism given to her, even from Seal who doesn't hold back, and feel they are being "Nicer" to her.

Or is that just me?

Am inclined to believe with you on Racheal... I also thought the same thing in that she has niot received any constructive feedback from the Coaches, and as you say Seal usually gives constructive feedback to everyone!

laugh.gif Just had a flashback on the other night with Seal's reaction to all those backup Dancers that Delta organised to Glen! tongue.gif

I definitely think Racheal is shown a certain amount of favourtism. And I cringe every time she is referred to as 'the angel'. She certainly is a good singer though, but she is given an easier time than the other performers.

I love Darren and also Fatai. Karise is pretty good but I think she'll do better once she loses the shackles of Seal. He's bringing her down IMO.

Really dislike Chris Sebastian and Glenn Cunningham and don't even understand how they got on the show aside from having famous connections. And Lakyn annoys me with his crooked mouth singing.

What did everyone this of last nights episode? And what do you think about the final 4? biggrin.gif I am very happy to see that Darren Percival got through, although I believe a number of people are annoyed and feel that Keith should have gone with Dianna as her perfromance was so strong last night. Personally, I feel he made the right decision especially seeing as Darren spent the week at number one on i-tunes!

Who would you like to see win from here? I am going for Darren but would also be happy to see Karise Eden win. rolleyes.gif

I really love Darren and I would like to see him win, but I feel that someone with a better back story will win it, so that's either Karise or Rachael. I really hope it's not Rachael because she has the weakest voice of the 4 of them in my opinion. I think that Glenn actually out performed her last night but I can understand why Delta went with her because she is more popular.

Meh I have been very disappointed with the last few weeks - I think some of the song choices the Coaches gave have made a big impact. Thank goodness for the fast forward option on my remote! Apart from Darren, I don't agree that the remaining three should be there at all. Rachel is by far the weakest, Karise has a unique voice but absolutely ruined the hallelujah song last night! So now I don't really care who wins.

I ALSO think it has not been about finding someone with 'the voice' but who is more saleable etc which is a shame.

I thought Karisse screeched and screamed her way through Hallelujah last night. It was awful, like listening to someone scratch their nails down a chalk board at times. blush.gif

Sad thing is, I'm sure she could have done a much better job delivering it if they let her sing it in a lower key.

I'm not really a fan of any of the ones left to be honest.

If I had to pick a winner I'd go for Darren. But, I bet Sarah wins.

PS: Is it just me or can anyone else see a resemblance between Sarah & Nicole Richie?? Not saying that's why she was chosen by Joel, but I really think they look alike.

I was just saying the exact same thing last night!!!

I like Darren, he's a great performer but hes so likeable too..

I don't really care who wins to tell you he truth, but I'm glad Darren made it through - he's not your typical type who would win these types of things so I'm glad.. I'll watch the final show next week.

Whilst I like Darren and think he has a great voice, I'm finding that all the songs he sings all sound very similar and it's getting a bit boring. I think he just needs some better song choices.

I must be the only one who like Karise singing Halleljah ph34r.gif I haven't really liked her that much up until the other night. I think Fatai could do so much better but Seal gives her bad songs to sing. I'm really disliking Seal, I dislike him more and more very week.

Racheal was same same again. A slow ballad type song. Was sung well but meh!

I quite like Sarah but think she'll do much better once she gets some better song choices.

I haven't actually had a chance to watch it - we taped it, as we were away, but DH wanted to catch up on The Block last night, and I'm out tonight and tomorrow night ... so I decided to just look up who got through rolleyes.gif

I am really, really happy that Darren got through. I obviously haven't seen the performances yet, but I hope he doesn't suffer with public votes because of a lot of people wanting Diana to have gone through instead.

I'd love Darren, or Karise, to win. I definitely don't want Rachael to win - but I suspect, given that this will be a public vote, that she's got the best chance. It's annoying me a bit that the final is completely on the public vote - I would have preferred half based on public vote, and half based on the judges vote. It's going to turn it into a popularity contest now (which is why I never watch all the other singing shows).

Silly question, but from here how does it work? I know that the public are voting this week and that all 4 will perfrom 2 songs each on Sunday night, with the winner announced on Monday night....

So when people are voting from now until Sunday, does anyone get emilinated so to speak on Sunday night? Or have we already started voting for a winner to be announced on Monday night?

They probably did announce this, I was just probably not paying attention! rolleyes.gif

Well, I'm happy to do a back flip on my views after watching Sunday and Monday nights final. tongue.gif

I thought Karisse was brilliant. Absolutely amazing and such a worthy winner.

I think she really does have a unique and soulful voice and wont be a one hit wonder.

What did everyone else think of the outcome?

Very happy with the outcome smile.gif I was going for Darren all along but there was no denying that Karise had 3 or 4 out of 5 top hits on i-tunes for the last week or so! She has an incredible voice and some serious talent... I am very happy for her, expecially after everything she has been through!

I am also very happy with the order they placed in, Darren was a very worthy runner up, he will go far from here I'm sure! smile.gif I was a little shocked that Sarah DeBono came 4th, even though the final 4 is exactly the order I would have placed them in.... there seemed to be huge social media support for Sarah? In the end though, maybe her fans were not voting?

Anyway can't wait to hear more from all of the winners, especially Karise and Darren biggrin.gif

I am a little worried about what will replace my addiction now The Voice is over tongue.gif laugh.gif
