I really liked Seal at first but I'm starting to feel really creeped out by him as it feels like he's been a bit sleazy towards some of the young girls. Shudder.

I noticed this, too. He was a bit too touchy-feely. Like when he lifted up that girl in the air, it wasn't professional. Still like his music, though!

We are loving the show too.

I think there is a great dynamic between all of the judges. Seal annoys me though. He seems a bit arrogant and too touchy feely for my liking. Love Joel and Keith though, they both seem like they would be great mentors IMO.

I missed Rachael's first performance so was looking forward to finally hearing her sing.

What a gorgeous gorgeous girl with such a beautiful voice. smile.gif

Who's your favourite so far? Anyone that you thought should have got through but didn't? Anyone that you think is most likely to win? Anyone not likely to be a winner but still got through?

I've enjoyed all the 'battles' so far, with the only exception being Seal's pair of Chris Sebastian and Yshrael. Why on earth did Seal choose that song?! It suited neither of those boys in the slightest bit, no wonder they struggled. I thought Seal was supposed to be all about choosing the right song to put the contestant's best foot forward?

I think Mahalia Barnes should have got through, I think the only reason she didn't was her friend shook her booty around more! Not sure why whenever I see her she always seems to wear those big mumu dresses.

I agree Mahalia had the better voice but I did find it hard to look away from Prinny - damn her legs were incredible and I don't think Mahalia helped her cause by wearing a mumu.

I actually preferred Prinnie's voice to Mahalia's. Though I do think Mahalia is fantastic too (apart from the mumu's!)

I agree AliRo. The song that Seal chose for Chris and Yshrael was a terrible choice! I spent the whole time cringing and wondering why on earth Seal chose that song!

I think so far I have agreed with all of the ones that have gone through (that I have seen, I missed a few). I can't remember their names, but Joel and Benji disagreed about one pairing, and Benji told Joel he had made the wrong choice? I agreed with Joel on that one, so glad she got through (even though I've totally forgotten who it was! laugh.gif )

I agree with BlueBug I thought Prinnie had it all over Mahalia. And yeah she did have great legs too. biggrin.gif She reminded me so much of Beyonce...

Others that I thought were great were the two girls from Delta's team (I think Sarah and can't remember the other girls name). They sang the Mariah Carey song. They were both great. smile.gif

Didn't agree with Chris Sebastian winning over the other guy. I thought he wasn't as good as him and probably got in b/c of celeb appeal.

Loved the two older guys thought they were a great pairing.

I'm really enjoying it so far. smile.gif

Another one that agrees with this biggrin.gif Prinnie has a good voice and knows how to perform on stage and play the part... Mahalia's voice is too much like screaming for my liking and as a result her voice really only suits very select songs... much like her Dad tongue.gif I think the winner needs to be someone who can sing a wider variety of songs.

Hands down best performance for me was Fatai and Mitchell singing the duet of Emimen and Rihanna- Love the way you lie... absolutely A-Mazing!! biggrin.gif They were both so talented it was honestly a real shame that one of them had to go sad.gif It is hard to believe that Fatai is only 16years old with a voice like that!

So after each coach gets down to a team of 6 what happens then? I'm assuming that they 'battle' the people off other teams then until they get down to one winner?

I am seriously addicted to this show ph34r.gif rolleyes.gif

was really happy with all the picks for last night. I really wanted Casey to get through last night, but Emma-Louisa definitely did better on the night. Like Keith said, was waiting for her to bring something big out but it just didn't happen.

Karaoke guy definitely did not deserve to win. He was very karaoke!
And girl group girl in the red dress was very over the top in her performance wacko.gif

I think Joel has a really good team, all the others have 2 or 3 that are really good and the other contestants, while good singers, I just can't see them being in the industry long term, they just don't have that star quality.

is anyone else a big over The Voice now? The last 2 weeks I've been glad that I've taped it because I fast forwarded through half of it. Either the songs were boring or the person singing it was boring. Obviously it's the judges fault because in the audition rounds, when the contestants chose their songs, it was interesting. Now there's really on a couple that I have any hope for.

Does anyone else think that Carmen going on The Voice was just a publicity stunt? Obviously Carment and Guy had been planning on doing a song together for a while, but if they did everyone would be like "who on earth is that chick?!". So, she goes on The Voice, gets herself known, and then releases a song!

I'm still watching the voice, but am doing things at the same time smile.gif

Agree with you Aliro, something a bit odd with Carmen releasing a song with Guy just as she's on the voice - surely someone should have known about this before she was picked for the voice?

Bah.

The live shows are very long, but I'm still enjoying them. Its getting towards the pointy end now.. Really don't appreciate linkyn or whatever his name is. I like most of the singers on Keith's team, as well as Fatai from Seal's team...

I agree about Carmen. That was odd. And when that all happened they started talking about how she was one of the "professional" singers that the shows producers "invited" to audition. They said that included Carmen, Darren, Mahalia, Prinnie, Glenn and possibly a couple of others. That really made me dislike the show and lose interest a bit...I still watch a bit, but usually just if I see that it is on when I flick through the channels (and only if nothing better is on!) I think it is a weird format inviting professional singers to compete with 14/16 year old school kids like Fatai and inexperienced singers. I feel like half of them now have an unfair advantage. I know they are generally back up singers, but they have a lot of experience singing in front of audiences, performing with bands etc. Is it unfair? Or is it just me?

I have been happy with all the eliminations so far, which is interesting! I really dislike Lakyn and Chris Sebastian though. Not my cup of tea really...

I am still watching too and still addicted.... however last Mondays show did make me lose interest a bit unsure.gif unsure.gif I think its because I am now a big fan of Team Keith... Team Joel has a few I like as well so the show from the week before was the better one.

So who are everyone's favourite singers so far? Mine are:

1. Darren Percival (he has some serious talent... I love his voice!)
2. Brittany Cairns
3. Karise Eden

There are a few others who are also quite good, but these are my top 3. Agree thaat Lakyn is actually quite annoying.... DH pointed out that it is like he is talking though his songs and not actually singing them laugh.gif Now this is all I can think of when I watch him perform! He will continue to get the teenage girl vote though wacko.gif

Who does everyone else like? and who do you want to win?
